The story of creating an own brand connected product at Target.
Target has a history of being a leader in Product Design and Development. As products continue to evolve, Target needed to figure out how to add technology to products. People from around the corporation came together to create prototypes and sell the idea of connected products throughout the organization, eventually leading to selling real products at Target. This talk will tell the story of how the team was able to innovate in a large corporation and include individuals with different backgrounds to bring a product to market with a "small company mentality" at a big company.
