To many, floor cleaners are boring - that's the point.  While proper, efficient cleaning is critical for health, safety, and lean operations, no one really wants to worry about it.  Nor does anyone want to deal with costly repairs, the supply of cleaning solutions, or just plain downtime.   This is where IoT comes in, by taking the risk and expense out of something mundane like cleaning floors.  This enables owners and managers to spend time on the other critical business operations.
