Most home security systems will sound an alarm, notify the police or send you a text notification. During IoT Hack Day, our goal was to give home security a physical presence the second an intruder is detected. To do this, we combined hardware and software to lift off a drone when a door is opened. During this presentation we’ll talk about the technologies we used along with the process we followed to build out our drone equipped home security system.
